The Suspended Solids (4270) measures the amount of
fine debris present in the Lithium Bromide solution.

The higher the value, the dirtier the brine, and the more likely
the chiller is to be fouled with plugged spray nozzles and heat
exchanger tubes thereby reducing its operating efficiency.

The value shown is typical for the average absorption chiller.
